Update -- April 9, 2008

Our families want you to know that we sense God’s peace in an amazing way even through the tears. They are doing an echo-cardio right now which will determine the next steps. Dr. Mayer is thinking that he may need to do surgery later on today. The good news is that her bp and heart rhythms appear to be stabilizing. We can sense the strain on both Jon and Laura at this point, so continue to undergird them with your prayers
We will keep you posted throughout the day. We love you all and thank you for standing with us at the throne of grace.

Praying that God would put his hand on Lindsay's little heart and quiet the storm.

Philippians 4:5-7,9 "...The Lord is near.(Jehovah-shammah)do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts(& Lindsay's heart) and minds in Christ Jesus....And the God of peace (Jehovah-shalom) will be with you."
Proverbs 18:10 "The Name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Jehovah-rapha. Praying for Lindsay's heart healing and that she will grow to truly have "a heart for God."
Continuing to pray for All of You with Love, DeEtta and Stan

We are constantly amazed at how AWESOME our God is. We know that He can and does great and mighty things. These types of times brings our faith to reality and we can say with the Apostle Paul and the others "That we KNOW God is ..... good, holy, just, righteous, hears us, cares for us, etc, etc, etc...... We love you all,
