Update 4/9/08 10:00 PM

Praise the Lord for the great progress that Lindsay has made today. As of this evening she is completely off the pacemaker and the medications to regulate the heartbeat have been greatly reduced. She is out of the "paralytic" sleep and beginning to become a little more responsive.

The surgeon is pleased with what he observed as the day progressed. She will remain in Cardiac ICU for at least another two-three days.

Our daughter, Julie, arrived this morning. Thanks, Garrett, for letting her come and for taking care of the kids. Laura was really surprised to see her. Pray for Julie as she heads up some time tomorrow afternoon.

Amy Richardson, daughter of Karen and Robby Richardson, took Zach and Tanner out on the town this afternoon and they had a great time getting away from the hospital. Thanks, Amy!

Josh, Jenny and Sam arrived after 6 and really shocked Laura! They will be staying until Friday and Zach and Dad will follow them back home. Thanks, Josh and Jenny for making the trip.

Grandma (Phyllis) Groen is spending the night with Lindsay so that Laura and Jon can get a good night of rest (if that is possible with Julie and Laura being in the same room).

Your prayers and blog comments have been a HUGE BLESSING!

Many people from the Davisville family have expressed their prayer for each of you guys up there. The Welte's in Philadelphia have you guys in prayer daily, and patiently wait for the updates. God is good, and it shows with the the news this evening. We love you guys.

Praise the Lord for the good report. There's been much prayer going up for all of you. Hoping you're able to get some good rest. You all must be exhausted by now.

Love,

Susan M.

Praise God! We are continuing to pray for you all. Though we do not know Laura personally, we have been down that road of miscarriage as well; please accept our sincere condolences. We praise God for the strength and grace He is pouring out on your family during these days!!

Praise God for all the love that you are pouring out on each other. Praise God for the sacrifice of each of you in being very present with each other in this great time of need. May you look back and rejoice in all that God is doing. May His healing power be upon Lindsay.lynn

So Cool, I'm so happy and feeling so thankful for such an awesome God. We are thinking of you often during our day and pray for you then too. I know Laura must fell so uplifted to see Jules and Josh and Jenny. How great that they were able to come. I know Jules really wanted to be there. Amazing family. You all are such a testimony and little Lindsay has brought me to my knees, once again, through a child needing prayer, it is very humbling. Love you all and we send lots of hugs, Melissa, Brian, Morgan, and Colin

Hi Bill and Jan, and Family...
You are in our prayers daily...and as God would have it...I ran into your Pastor yesterday at a conference...and as we were speaking of you...you called your Pastor! God's timing is awesome. It was good to speak with you...and know that while Pastor John was praying...I was praying too.

The Winborne's are praying along with a whole host of other's who love you and your family.

God bless,
Pastor Willy

Dear Jon and Laura (and all the rest),

Vic and the girls and I have been praying for you over the past few days. When I prayed for you the morning of the surgery, I prayed that all of you would be hidden in the shelter of God's wings. I had a picture come to my mind of these big angel wings covering Lindsay and the doctors and your entire family, protecting you and keeping all of you safe. We rejoice to see how God has kept Lindsay safe and answered all of our prayers. Laura, I grieve with you over the loss of your little one. I lost baby #5 last June and I was 10 weeks along just like you. I'm so sorry for your loss. May God comfort you during this time. We love you. Vic and Mary Lou
