Tuesday evening update

Today started out as one of discouragement, but the Lord has given us some hope this evening.

Lindsay's response to the change in ECMO machines has been very favorable, and the increased blood flow is awesome. Her heart did work on it's own, but she needed some medication to control her blood pressure.

The bronchial scope was good and didn't show any major concerns. Praise the Lord.

Please continue to pray for Tanner. Jon and Laura had to sell their calves today because Lindsay cannot be around livestock after the transplant. Tanner and Lindsay became very attached to the calves in the short time that they had them. We still marvel at how well he has done being three and at the hospital all but one or two days.

Pray for a good night's rest for Laura, Jon, Tanner and Jan.

Thanks for all your prayers and words of encouragement.

As I read tonight's blog, the Lord brought this Praise and Worship song to mind:
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning, new every morning, great is thy faithfulness, Oh, Lord; great is thy faithfulness." I am encouraged with you this evening and will pray for an incredibly restful sleep.

I am so pleased to know that both the change in ECMO machines as well as the bronchial scope went well. It is reassuring news, and an affirmation of Lindsay's strength.

Robert, I am going to pray now and type it out,
Father God I thank you that you are a awesome God. You said in your Word, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as is in heaven.
I thank you Lindsay will experience on earth your power. On earth as it is in heaven she will live in her everyday life. So Father I thank you that she is healed and we believe for that manifestation will take place now.
I praise you now for your goodness and mercy that follows Lindsay's life.
The grass withers the flowers fade, But the Word of God stands forever.
I stand on your Word and Believe Lindsay is healed, whole and that we believe your report and expect the doctors to find her improved.
Jesus may your love and encouragement touch her family and friends and may they be united to seek your face and be touched by your presence.
May Lindsay's life be testimony to others and may many come to know you Jesus because of your healing power in her and your love.
We love you Father and Thank you. We bless you forever and ever,
In Jesus name I pray and I agree with Your Word and as many are believing with me, In Jesus name, Amen

Jon, Laura, Tanner,and Jan,

Thanks so much for letting us visit with you in the hospital last night It was a privilege. It was difficult in some ways to see your precious little girl in such a helpless state. However, Dana and I both came away with a fresh sesnse of optimism. It was important to talk with you face to face and to see how Lindsay is being cared for. We can see why you are able to leave Linsay in the hands of the capable staff at Boston Children's. Everyone we met exuded a sense of welcome and compassion and professional confidence. It is easier for us to pray specifically having seen the amazing equipment that is helping Lindsay to recover. The machines are incredible! We send our prayers for another day of prgress.

Dear Laura, Jon, Tanner, and Jan:

We are praying for you all daily, and especially for Lindsay. The words of a song came to me this morning - God can do anything. God can do anything. God can do anything BUT FAIL!!! We pray for his comfort and peace for all of you. We check the blog frequently for updates about Lindsay. The doctors and nurses at Boston Children's are also in our prayers. We love you all!!!!

Father, in the name of Jesus,
touch this precious one Lindsay
and her family. Heal her "old"
heart and let it work better than
a little heart ever has!! We thank
you for your great love for us all,
and for your concern over every
matter, great and small, in our
lives. We praise you Lord and thank
you for healing Lindsay; in Jesus'
precious Name we pray, Amen.
