Thursday Eveninig Update

"The eyes of all look expectantly to You." Psalm 145:15

That was the first verse I read this morning, and how our great God has been at work as we corporately as a family and the family of God have looked to HIM.

Late this afternoon Laura was given a beeper to keep with her at all times which would notify them that the team received word about a heart.

There was a wee bit of confusion since the report this morning seemed to indicate that we were not at that point.

The team felt that since she had improved (infection) that she should be put back on the priority list in the event this is a viable option.

So how do we pray? Our prayer is that God would make it very CLEAR and PLAIN about the next step. We are praying that if HE is going to heal Lindsay through the heart transplant, that the miracle will be a heart as soon as possbible. However, if God wants to heal the her present heart, we are praying that He would hold off on a heart.

We don't presume to know HIS will, so pray that God will speak to the hearts and minds of the team of doctors and nurses providing her care.

Laura went back to check on her before going to dinner and her nurse said that Lindsay was wiggling around. She told Lindsay that if she could hear her, to open her eyes and she did! Now they have had to increase her medications to keep her sedated, but it is very apparent that Lindsay is in the fight! Praise the Lord.

We will keep you posted as we receive updates. Thank you again for your prayers.

Our dear friends, Robert and Joyce Hayes do a song that is called "When A Whisper is Enough." Well God didn't just whisper to us today -- He shouted! Praise God.

This has been a day of wonderous news. The improvement of Lindsay's mitral valve, the re-listing for a heart transplant, the provision of a beeper, and her response to Laura is all incredible! Lindsay is one special girl.

Our Lord is AMAZING! Mountains to us are but ant hills to him. We've been praying and having faith that God will allow a miracle to occur in Lindsay because He is able...we just have to believe.

What a praise report!

Laura and Jon,

Praise God that HE is on the throne and at work in your lives. It is amazing to see how many people God is touching through Lindsay's experience. We are on the edge of our seats everytime an update comes in to see what God is doing. Isn't HE great!

Be encouraged. We continue to hold Lindsay, you, and your entire family up in prayer.

We are rejoicing about all that God is doing in Lindsay's life and through your family to those who God has brought into your lives. We continue to wait and pray with you. It is so comforting to know God is there with Lindsay and with all of you, and that HE is in control each moment. I shared the updates with my prayer group at school and with my 6th graders. They are all praying.

How cool that she can hear her Mommy! Don't forget Laura, her hearing will never not be able to hear her HEAVENLY FATHER. No doubt He is constantly speaking to her.
I shall never leave you nor forsake you!
still praying,
love Dina

I have just spoken with Bill and was blessed to hear his voice and to get a verbal report.

The Welte family holds a special place in my heart and life. For the past ten years you have been a chief source of blessing from God.

We are praying for you at Deerfoot Baptist Church.

You are on my heart and mind throughout the day. I pray for you.

With much love and sincere prayers.
