Thanks

How can I (we) say "Thanks" for the things YOU have done for me (Lindsay and us). God is awesome, words cannot express.

Eph. 3:20-21 Now to HIM who IS ABLE to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to HIM be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen

Words are hard to find, but scripture has become so precious. The Lord has been talking to us every step of the way. Your prayers have been felt by all of us and I believe the nurses and doctors are feeling and seeing it as well.

We are not out of the woods, by far, but the Lord has sent through some rays of sunshine for us to bathe in. Keep praying for Lindsay, Jon, Laura, Tanner, Warren, Phyllis, Bill, and GrannyApple(Jan) as we await the Lord's next step. Pray for all our kids as they are all far away and wait for news hourly. We are humbled by HIS presence here.

As we sing to Lindsay this song, we share it with all of you as well:

We love you a bushel and a peck, a bushel and a peck, and a hug around the neck. A hug around the neck, and a barrel and a heap, and a talkin' in our sleep about you. We are praying for all of you as well.

Continue to pray for Logan (10 mths - 3 surgeries) who is having some difficulties. His parents have become dear friends. Also continue to pray for Lance's parents (who have become dear to us, too)and family as yesterday they had to say goodbye. The Lord has brought these families into our lives for a purpose and pray that they will not see us, but Jesus.

Love to all of you around the world,
Jan for my grandbaby, Lindsay, and all the Groens and Weltes

You are welcome, but it is we who should say thank-you. Thank-you for giving us the opportunity to see God at work in a mighty way. We all need to be renewed at times; I can think of no better source of strength than to see God work in the lives of fellow Christians. This has been a BIG one!

Father God, How can we say thanks for the things you have done for us? Things so undeserved, yet you give to prove your love for us. The voices of a million angels could not express our gratitude!!! We join our voices with all those who have been watching and praying for Lindsay and her whole family in grateful tears for this incredible news! We'll continue to pray and praise! In His love, the Jaegers

Our God is awesome, no matter what, but my heart rejoices with you in the little and not so little improvements! Your family is in my prayers and I thank the Lord for the opportunity to bring Lindsay before the throne.
With thanksgiving,

Bill, Thanks for the update and link (FreedomFighters devo). Lord bless you and yours as you seek our Lord for solace and grace. I've sent today's FF on to my Pastor so we should have this out to our church prayer list by the weekend. Be strong in Christ, brother.

Hugs,

Granny-apple Lady and all of you dear ones, I read the morning update and was so moved I could not write.
Lindsay's blog has made it possible, in a sense, for us to be with you.It is as if we are outside the hospital looking at the window of Lindsay's room praying and waiting.
We continue to pray that Lindsay's needs and each of the families needs be met.

First it is THANK YOU GOD!! and then it is thank you to all of you for letting us into your family in a special way. I know I love you all even those I haven't met..even more than a bushel and a peck!! :)

Bill your call this morning to ask about Amy (Israel) was a blessing.
I really needed to hear your voice. So thank you.

To the staff at BCH--THANK YOU! and may you all be amazed what God will do in Lindsay'a life. May you all be in touch with our loving, living GOD!! God bless you and you truly are in our prayers. Here in NJ, I was told by a someone who knows, "there is no better place for Lindsay."

Much love, hugs and prayers,

I just read this poem in Nan's book and thought I should share it:

They Shall Never OverFlow

As you walk life's road with Jesus
Hour by hour and day by day
There'll be times of trial and testings,
Yet He'll lead you all the way.

And though trials like a river,
Seem to gather at your feet,
He can simply take the waters,
Push them back up like a heap.

Then you'll walk right through the trouble,
With the waters on the side,
Oh, how precious is His promise,
I will ever be thy Guide.

Yet there will be times of testings
When He leaves the waters there,
And each step you take grows deeper
And you wonder, does He care?

Up and up the waters mounting
When a voice speaks to your soul,
"When thou passest through the waters They shall never overflow."

Then suddenly you'll feel Him,
His strong arms that love you so,
Holding you above the waters
That they might not overflow

Many times you grope and panic,
Think you'll sink beneath the wave,
When you should be simply trusting,
In the arms so strong to save.

Oh, if a miracle is needed,
Through the trial or for the task,
He just pushes back the water,
So on dry land you can pass.

But if for His own reasons
You must through the waters go,
Hold on tightly to the promise,
"They shall never overflow."

*Isaiah 43:2
Love you guys, ~Julie
