Wednesday Night Update

Tomorrow will be a very important day as the transplant team will be meeting to assess if they are able to proceed with the Berlin Heart. Depending on the assessment, it could happen as early as Friday.

Tonight they are putting her on the larger ventilator to get the lungs functioning better.

Please pray that the Lord will flood Laura and Jon's heart and minds with peace tonight. I can't even begin to fathom how difficult the weight of the decisions must be for them. Please pray that we will be able to move forward with the Berlin heart.

Praise the Lord that Warren and Phyllis made it home safely and were able to get to the hospital tonight.

We thank the Lord often throughout the day for the thousands of people now around the globe who are praying along with us.

Please pray for Dr.'s Mayer, Emani, Brown, Lawson and Dr. John (not sure of his last name) and for the ECMO nurses as well as the nurses who provide care for Lindsay around the clock. We are glad that Auntie Moira (Meow) is on duty tomorrow and Friday.

It is times like this that we can rest in the comfort of knowing that God is in control. There are no unknowns to Him. He is using Lindsay in a very special way and He will be faithful to keep you in perfect peace.

Lindsay Bear,
Granny and PopPop love you so much and were glad to see your eyes today. We are praying without ceasing for God to do His perfect will in your body. The Lord and you have amazed them with your great strength. Sleep tight, pretty girl, and we will see you in the morning with great expectations from our God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. Night, night.
Love, Granny and PopPop

Jon & Laura:

Wednesday night prayer meeting covered Lindsay in prayer. It was great for our group to lift Lindsay and family up before the Lord.

I will go to prayer now to pray for the drivers and other issues and that tomorrow mornings meeting goes well.

God Bless You

Good evening, almost morning, I couldn't sleep and wanted to see how our girl was doing. I was unable to check till now, but my thoughts and prayers were with you all today. I will pray as you asked us too, and I'm just so thankful for the bits of good news. Love you all, Melissa and family. By the way I love the bracelets and think it's a wonderful idea.
