Wednesday Morning Update

Good morning. I am sitting in a room with 1100 ladies who are currently attending the Spring Ladies Day at America's KESWICK with my good friend, Liz Curtis Higgs. Many of these ladies have come to tell me that they are praying for Lindsay, Laura, Jon and Tanner. What an encouragement it has been to meet prayer partners face to face!

Dr. Emani encouraged us to get word of the blog to have folks pray specifically for Lindsay's lungs! In order to proceed with the artificial heart, the lungs must be clear! Please get the word out and let's storm heaven's gates with our prayers. If he can clear up MERSA, he can clear up her lungs.

Thanks from the bottom of our hearts!

I came across this encouraging proclaimation this morning and want to share it with you as we all come together in faith to petition for Lindsay.
We believe in God, The Almighty
Who creates, restores, and renews all things
Who works in the hidden stillness of every dawn
Opening the darkest tomb and birthing hope and peace.
We believe in Jesus Christ the risen Christ
Who is Lord of Life and King of Glory
Conqueror of all death and deadly powers
He meets us on every path and calls us to be Children of the Light.
We believe in the Holy Spirit
Who works throught the lame and the little, the wrinkled and the newborn, the hurting and the hopeful,
nudging our prayers, kindling our longings and prompting our praise.
We believe in the CHurch
THe community of Easter people
Called to caring and sharing, seeking and finding, loving and laughing, life beyond dying...
We love You Lord and we hold Lindsay before You asking you to work Your miracle in her, heal her lungs and give her a new heart. In Jesus Name we humbly pray.Amen

Praying
...the Spirit helps us with our weakness. We do not know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit himself speaks to God for us,even begs God for us with deep feelings that words cannot explain.

Just a note about missing blogs. When we need to update a number of times a day sometimes we put two together to save space and make it easier to see more posts at one time. That said, we didn't take any off just made them into one. :) Thanks for noticing. Love, Granny

We are in constant prayer for Lindsay and specifically that her lungs will clear. Also praying for Lindsay's family as well as the entire medical staff taking care of her.

I have also sent a prayer request to my former church (Christian Missionary Alliance in Cranford, NJ) so the prayer warriors there can also be praying for Lindsay.

Praise God for your faithfullness! It's the best thing you can do for Lindsay. Trust in God with all your heart. What a testimony. She is in my prayers and I'm thinking about her all the time. My daughter Sarah prayers for her every night. It's wonderful to see her little friends praying for her as well. GOD IS GOOD!

Love,

Tracy

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge.”

Psalm 19:1-2 (NIV)

"When I can't control everything around me, everything around me seems to be a reminder of just how in control God is."

These words were part of my email devotion today and I thought of how often during this trial God has given you/us reminders in everday things that He is in control.

I am studying the book of Revelation this year and one of my favorite parts was Revelation
5:8b "Each one of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God's holy people". All the prayers spoken for Lindsay are at the throne pouring forth perfume to our Holy God.

What a beautiful thought. Not only are we lifting up Lindsay but we are honoring our Father at the same time. Thank for letting us intercede for you.

I just posted my May, 2008 Heavilin Herald at www.marilynheavilin.com. I included a blurb about Lindsay as well as her picture. It has been so heartwarming for me to receive many notes telling me that people who don't know the Weltes or the Groens have been praying for Lindsay and checking her blog several times a day.
God's family around the world is on alert and I am in awe. God is using this little one to bless us all.

Read this update with a big smile on my face as I pictured you with 1100 women!! Hopefully it was a good day for all.

Praying that lindsaya' lungs will clear and she will be ready for the Berlin when it arrives.

It is great to see that Drs' and nurses are requesting prayer for Lindsay! :)

Praying for the Drs., staff and family. Laura and Jon you are truly a blessing to us all. We are thankful that Granny can be there. Sure she is an encouragement. Tanner is surely a "great" big brother. Praying for him as you all go through this time..a long journey with God in your midst.

Love, hugs & prayers

Hi Jon and Laura,

We missed you guys at MOPS today. Today Grammy Gail, Ginny, and myself had all the kids from 3-7. One of the songs we sang was the B-I-B-L-E, I stand alone on the word of God, The B-I-B-L-E. We talked about that standing alone is not standing by yourself, but trusting completely in God's promises to us. It was an awesome sight to see 13 precious children on their knees praying for your family and for God to heal Lindsay's heart boo boo so that she and Tanner could come and play again. So we will continue to pray for complete lung healing and that you will be back with us very soon.

God Bless,

Lisa Pampreen
