Lindsay just got fitted for orthopedic boots to help her feet and calves since she has been lying in bed for a month. Check them out.
Dr Mayer was in to tell us the wheels are in motion for the Berlin Heart. Several prayer requests for you to take before the throne.
1. Lindsay's lungs need to be in better shape in order to switch over to the smaller vent and then to take over with little or no assistance after the Berlin is put in. This is the most importatnt right now.
2. After the Berlin arrived several weeks ago, it was shipped back since the infection was so severe. It needs to arrive back again.
3. Keeping her urine output is very important. She has been doing that on her own today but that needs to continue. 4. The rest of her organs need to stay in good shape before surgery.

Continuing to pray for the day Lindsay will be walkin, boots or no boots. Glad to hear the encouraging news, keeping all in our thoughts and prayers without ceasing. Uncle Bill & Aunt Carol K
Precious to see her little feet picture! We are keeping the prayers going up!!! Praise God for good news...Linda Lazenby TN.
Thanks for the specifics. We feel somewhat more involved when we know exactly what we should pray for. I hope Lindsay's precious little "peds" feel more comfortable in her new "boots."

What happened to the 5:15 PM post? I know I saw it since I have a copy of the post in my email to a friend, but it has disappeared or been removed from the blog. Or so it appears to me.
In any case, I and my friends will continue to pray for Lindsay and all y'all. God will meet all your needs in his perfect timing, whether it is housing, finances, rest, healing, peace or anything else. He loves and cares for each of his own.
Lindsay has been blessed with some special boots, but each one of you has been a blessing to us as we see how God has fitted each one of you with special "shoes" to walk by FAITH. We will keep uplifting you in our prayers. God is able!
We also want to share an encouraging Powerpoint presentation that was recently shared with us.

My prayer for you tonight is this:
May the God whose promises are yes and amen speak strength into your precious body, little Lindsay and blow the remainder of that old ugly infection right out.
May the God who is our peace fill you, Laura and Jon with all the comfort you need to endure until...
May the grace of God, much more abound in all of you there and most especially in Lindsay and cause her lungs to shape up.
May He who is the One Who heals sustain and keep the rest of her organs.
Lord our cry is that You would prepare the way for Lindsay to receive whatever is next with no complications.
I pray in hope and confidence that You who is able can make Lindsay whole again and however You choose to do it we will worship and praise and thank you.
Lord God may the words of our mouth and the meditations of our heart be acceptable in Your sight. Amen.
Steph and Sesk :-)
I am praying for Lindsay daily.
I am praying for the whole family and I know the Lord will answer according to His will.

Have tried to write a few times today but I just stop and seem to "freeze in thanksgiving".
Thank you for allowing us to look in your window and see and hear your hearts joys and concerns, for making it possible to write and privileged to pray.
With a grateful heart, LVS
PS Good to see the boots - God bless every hand that touches Lindsay.
