This afternoon they began the neurological tests on Lindsay. She will be monitored for 24 hours to determine if there was any brain issues or if this episode was caused by a seizure.

Pray that everyone will get a good night's rest.

Laura wanted me to let you know that visiting hours are 12-8 Eight South. Thanks again for your prayers.

Tanner....I really want to come and play at the play room, but it will take a little bit of a long drive, but I will be there soon. We can play with the pirate ship or we can do a craft or we can do whatever you want to do. Maybe I can bring some of my special toys. We will be there in a little bit!

Bye!

Hi Laura,
I thought I'd take a minute this morning and share with you from one mother's heart to another. As a mom who has walked (to some extent) in your shoes I just want you to be encouraged Laura to not waste any time, not any time at all blaming yourself for what you had no ability to forsee, forknow or control.
The enemy of our soul loves to beat us up with that one (blame) and if we take the beating we allow him to rob us of valuable energy that we desparately need to be in the up and down, sometimes surreal moments of our day.
Say no to any and all of that.
Nothing that has happened to your precious one is your fault. IT JUST ISN'T!
I wish I could give you a big hug and just hold your hand for a moment in prayer to reassure you heart and soul, to infuse you with HIS PEACE, HIS COMFORT.

Laura and Jonathan, cling to each other and allow the God of all comfort to knit you tighter and closer together through this painful part of your journey. See Him in the midst of this no matter what your eyes see or your ears hear.

My verse, the one that keeps me sane, alive and well is Philippians 4:4-8
"Rejoice in the LORD always, and again I say REJOICE. Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand. Do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understand will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."

Laura you might think it impossible to rejoice from where you sit. But having been there I can tell you IT IS POSSIBLE and it's possible because the Lord is at hand. He is right there in the midst of it all and because HE IS you can abide there with Lindsay one moment at a time trusting Father God for everything.

Blessings to you in faith and in hope and in the love of our Savior, JESUS.

Dear Jon, Laura, Welte & Groen families,
We are praying this for you...
We wait in HOPE for the Lord, He is our HELP and our SHIELD. May your UNFAILING love REST upon us, oh Lord, as we put our trust in You. The angel of the Lord ENCAMPS around this family who fear Him, and He delivers them. His ears are attentive to their cries ! Ps. 33,34
We have "Tom nite" on Tuesday nights with Tom Paschke, and as we were eating supper, he rec'd a text to please pray for Lindsey, so we stopped and prayed for you guys, and have not stopped praying ever since. We have Calvary Church family praying for you as well.
We love you all and are "trusting His heart" along with you,
Glen, Genine, Melinda, Jenna

Just checking in to say hello and see how our little girl is doing. I'm so glad she is resting more now, we love you and are praying. It is so cool how little Lindsay is putting such a revival in people's hearts to bring them back to prayer. I know she has for me. Love you all, Melissa, Brian, Morgan, and Colin
