Sunday evening update

Tonite's report was that the surgeon was pleased with Lindsay's numbers and that she was resting very comfortably. We have not receieved any definitive word about the surgery tomorrow, so we will let you know as soon as we get word.

The kids took us to Bertucci's for dinner tonight with my brother and sister-in-law and Warren and Phyllis. It was a nice celebration of our 34th anniversary, but we really missed Lindsay Bear and wished she could have been there.

This is a picture of the ECMO machine (Heart and Lung) which is really important in Lindsay's recovery.

Praising the Lord with you for improved numbers and for Lindsay's comfortable rest!!

Praising Him and thanking Him in advance for the work He will do in Lindsay tomorrow with or without the surgeons.

Praise God for the celebrating of a milestone in your lives Bill and Jan, in the midst of it.
God has blessed you, Jon and Laura, with the stability of parents who know what staying the course means.

Praise God for the daily sufficient strength He continues to give you as you wait in expectant hope.

Breath of Heaven, we ask You now, You who is the Great I Am to breath strength into Lindsay, to chase away any lingering infection and drain away any lingering fluid that doesn't belong there.

Remember dear Jon and Laura His strength is made perfect in all of your weaknesses.
Watch for His Hand to move.
Stand firm and full of faith believing God alone to do what only He can do.

Tonight when you kneel and pray together, thanking God for another day of His blessing, remember He is the sustainer of your times, the keeper of all life and He knows what He is doing.

May the God of Hope continue to fill you with HIS tangible peace as you trust in Him each step of the way.

May you two continue to stand, sit, kneel...shoulder to shoulder, never giving the enemy any ground to cause dissention in the ranks.

I remember well all the little things that threatened to rob Sesk and I of peace. Silly, insignificant things that seemed to come out of nowhere seeking to pit us against on another.
Be careful to guard your own hearts and minds in Christ Jesus and to immediately take captive any thoughts that seek to do harm.

We (all us other saints) will continue to fill the ranks with our warrior cries of petition and our mighty shouts of praise on your behalf and for precious Lindsay. We shall not be moved or deterred from standing in the gap with you and for you. We are in it for the long haul.

Blessings and Hugs to you all,
Stephanie and Sesky :-)

Bill & Jan - I'm thankful with you for all the reasons you had to celebrate today - and may God bless you with many more years to share with each other and with your beautiful family. Thanks again for being so faithful in keeping the blog updated. I've become a Lindsay blog junkie, checking it several times every day to see how she's doing.

Lindsay, I'm praying and trusting that God will give you a healthy heart and make you strong. I can hardly wait to see more videos of you laughing and playing with Tanner!
Sent with my love - Aunt Karen

Good morning, Bill, Jan, Jon and Julie. The saints at Christ Reformed Presbyterian (Laurel, MD) prayed for Lindsey last night, and have added her to our prayer guide. Have just finished praying for you all this morning, in light of Bill's update Sunday evening. Blessings - Chuck Heidel

As I looked at the ECMO machine, all I could see were the gentle, open hands of Jesus, with my prayer that those very capable hands would guide those who handle the ECMO, and the surgeons and nurse who may be using their skills and experience to care for precious Lindsay. Most of all I know those loving hands of Jesus will hold all of you in their grasp....Diane Nichols Wilm,DE and I offer my Congratulations to Bill & Jan on their 34th anniversary of the love that brought them together. Also, Bill, I hope to see you @ Keswick for Ladies Day with Liz Curtis Higgs. Imagine all those dear women praying for all of you. I know Liz is an "encourager", but I
am greatly encouraged by the continuing faith and testimony of Lindsay's precious family. Holding you in my heart, thoughts, and prayers Diane (again)
