Here is the update for Sunday evening:
Praise the Lord that Lindsay has responded by eliminating fluids to the pleasure of the the nurses.
The transplant team thinks that the Berlin Heart may arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Laura and Jon have requested prayer for the two young boys on either side of Lindsay. 7 year old Lance is in very serious condition and needs a heart and lung transplant. They have been testing him throughout the day and he has little or no brain activity, which would disqualify him for the transplants. Please pray for Lance's family.
Pray for 10 month old, Logan, who has had three open heart surgeries. He is doing quite well. Pray that Laura and Jon can be an encouragement to this family.
Pray for Grandma Groen (Phyllis) who is not feeling well and had to stay home today.

Just a word of encouragement to Jon and Laura, Phyllis and Warren, your "old" church family stands with you in spirit and in prayer. Pastor Tim Bowditch prayed an emotional prayer for Lindsay and each of you this morning. Please be assured that your brothers and sisters in Christ at Trinity Fellowship Church are keeping you before the throne of He who holds Lindsay in the palm of His hand.

There is no such thing as an "old" church family:) We are all part of the family of God forever. Won't it be great to meet each other one day in our Father's House! Praise God that Lindsay is hanging in there. We will continue to pray for the other children and their families that you have met as well.

First of all god bless this is Arlene by the way, i just wanted to send out my prayers and worry for Lindsay. As you know she is a child of God and with our prayers, Lindsay might not even need a heart transplant because our God is a God that does miracles and I am a strong believer in that. My family and I continue praying for her and not only her but for the family to stay strong as they battle this war that they have going on right now, but we procalim patience, peace and strength as we all battle this war with them. God is so good he will never abandon us and I am a strong beliver in that. If there is anything that I or my family may do to help do not hesitate to ask prayers are all over the world for Lindsay and her family, as well as those children who are going through a similar situation or even worse we pray for them as well. In Gods name we procalim healing, Amen. Well Pastor God Bless and you and your wife are wonderful people, I have such a great vibe when I am aroung you both, your love for God shoes through the love you have for each other. Continue being blessed and continue blessing others as you are doing even if you don't intend to just a hug, a smile or a word has a lot of power. I know that just a hello is enough for me. How well we (Sesk and I) remember the major rejoicing that we experienced in the little things that were oh so big things to us.
Little things like the changing of a tube, the turning of her body, any discernable decrease in the swelling of a face or a hand, the tender loving ways that the nurses and doctors did their jobs with excellence, never complaining.
The simply came in and did what they were trained to do.
I remember appreciating the seemingly mundane things they did, like wiping the crust from her eyes. Straightening the blanket, fluffing her pillow...
Again today I get to rejoice with you over all the things great and small that Father God is doing and is faithful to continue to do for His good pleasure...in the hospital, in our precious Lindsay, and in the body of Christ that is coming together today and tomorrow and until....

I was thinking about another week beginning as I went to sleep last night. For some reason, I always think of the week beginning on Monday. I guess that's because Sunday has always been a part of the weekend routine for our family. One thought led to another, and I began to think about God's "calendar" for Lindsay. It is such a common practice to keep a calendar or date book so that we can organize our busy lives. There are no blank days on her calendar of life. From the moment she was conceived, God knew what was written on each day. As each of those days unfolds, we pray that Lindsay and you, her family, will have the strength to meet the challenges you face. We are praying for a great day for you all! Kerri and Dana Robinson

I'm reminding myself of all the things God has done through others in the past weeks to try to minister to your needs and the ways he has brought others into your lives to give you encouragement. I'm so glad I'm a part of the family of God.
On a lighter note, I've never had my cookies called ccontraband. :-) When I bake cookies for people I pray before I make them. Glad the nurses are enjoying them. Such a small thing for all the care and work they do for little Lindsay. Just blog when you need some more.
