Monday morning update

Good morning. Here are several updates for prayer:

1. Lindsay's blood sugar is a little high so she is on a small amount of insulin. Pray that they can regulate it.

2. She has developed some air around the left lung and they are trying to take care of that this morning.

3. She needed platelets last night and there didn't seem to be a change. However the her friend in the next cubicle had them also and there wasn't a change. They are checking that out this morning as well.

4. Please pray that the Berlin heart will arrive this week. Here is a clip about the heart. http://www.allkids.org/body.cfm?id=396&action=detail&ref=57

5. Pray that God will miraculously provide Lindsay's new heart either by healing the "old" one or through the transplant.

While we are encouraging folks to visit Laura, Jon, and Tanner, it is important that you be well. Lindsay is very susceptible to infection.

Dear Groen Family,

Please know that you are in the prayers of the Mid-Atlantic Section of CCCA, and in fact, the prayers of many of the sections of CCCA. When we heard of the change in Lindsay's condition, we stopped and prayed for you at the Leadership Summit in Colorado last week.

We are trusting that God is giving you the wisdom to make decisions and the strength you need for each hour of the day. You will continue to be in our prayers.

Under His Grace,
Pam Rankin, President / CCCA Mid-Atlantic Section

mWe are praying for healing for Lindsay and stamina for all of the family.
I do understand that the waiting can be the hardest.
We are also praying for Tanner that God will give him patience and understanding way beyond his years.
Laura and Jon, your family is touching the hearts of so many young moms and dads who don't even know you. God is allowing you to be a positive witness for Him.
Be assured you are constantly on our hearts and minds and in our conversations with God.
In His mercy,

My heart and prayers go out to all of you and especially to little, beautiful Lindsay and her parents. I have a two year old and I could never even come close to imagining what you both are going through. My family is praying for you all.

As we were praying this morning, my 9-year-old son, Will, said, "Mom, I think this is a good sign - Lindsay, Lance and Logan all start with "L" for life - I think they're all going to be fine!" That's what we continue to pray - may God grant you his unfathomable peace and rest today.
Standing with you ,

Dear Jon and Laura,
Please be encouraged I was so pleased to see( as an outsider) how well Tanner seems to be doing. He was just like the tanner here at Mops. You are all doing great with him!! Keep it up the best you can. I rnjoyed playing with him and encourage any Moms that are able to head on down and havr tanner give their kiddos a tour of all the play areas. It would be good for all!! If I could I'd shuttle everyone down day by day!! I hope to hitch a ride again to see you all!!
Love and prayers!

Hey Guys,
This happened to Joyia as well. They had to give her insulin a few times.
Seems to be a "regular" occurance in situations like this.

Praying for the Lord to release the air and get rid of her infection so she is back on the active transplant list as soon as possible.

He is able. He is faithful.
He is the Sovereign One who sees, hears and knows.
In faith we trust Him to do all that He will do.

Still praying...
Steph and Sesk.

Dear Groen Family

There are no words that i could express to you in this time that you havent already heard. I just pray that through this time that you would continue to trust in God he already knows the outcome. I am trusting and beliving in God with you for healing for lindsay as well as the family. I know that God is able and his name is Jehovah Rapha the Lord that Heals. Just keep the faith. I have been asking my friends here at school (Philadelphia Biblical University) to pray for Lindsay and the family. I also sent an email to some people in the congregation at the church that I attend here in PA. They are all praying for this situation and sharing the prayer requests with others.

Dear Weltes and Groens,

You people are wonderful people and we just want you to know that we continually are lifting all of you up in prayer. The Sovereign Lord is reigning in this situation and he is receiving glory honor and praise even though it seems to be too much to bare. We love you all and pray for the LORD's will to be done.
