Case Is A Month Old!!

Today Case is a month old already. It seems like he took so long wanting to come into the world and it's been a month since he has been here already. He is a growing boy and has been a very good baby. At his last check up he was 11 lbs 9 oz and was 23 inches long. He was been pretty much sleeping through the night now which has been nice. He has just started to really focus on our faces and will give us a few smiles to. Seeing him smile can brighten my day in a instant. Tanner has been great with him and will often during the day talk to him or just check on him. They are going to be best buds when Case gets older. Tanner will often talk about the things he is going to teach Case.

I was rocking Case the other day and really thinking and missing Lindsay. I often will talk to Case about his big sister and how much she loves him. I miss her so much lately and especially with Case being here now. She would be his little mother I am sure and she would take good care of him. I am sure she is watching his every move from heaven. Lately I sit and think back to a year ago and still wonder why God needed her more. If we could just have another day with her, another chance to hold her, see her smile, and watch her with Case. Then I remember that God knew this was going to happen and nothing can change that. I look forward to when Case gets older to telling him all about her and showing him all the pictures and videos we have of her. Even though he will never know her (which breaks my heart) I want him to know how special she was and is to all of us. I hope the same thing for all of Lindsay's cousin's as well.
Thanks for continuing to pray for all our heart baby friends. Lindsay Dean is doing great and getting better everyday. Keep praying for all of them.

Happy One Month Birthday Case! Daddy, Mommy, Tanner, and Lindsay are so happy to have you apart of our family. We love you very much and we look forward to watching you grow. Thank you Lord for this healthy baby boy you have given to us!

Happy one month birthday, Case. We are looking forward to meeting you in person. Mommy & Daddy have been sending us pictures and you are so cute. Please know that we love you very much even though we have not met yet. You have a great big brother in Tanner and wonderful parents. You especially have a special Angel watching out for you in heaven, your big sister Lindsay.
We love you all very much,

I think too about how Lindsay would be. I think of how Emma was and wow, it would be a lot worse if he was in our house. :) I can't believe he is a month old already and much he has changed. I miss him much!!!
Lately Emma talks more and more about Lindsay and that makes me so happy. She knows her by face and I love hearing her talk about going to heaven one day to see her!
We miss you Lindsay Bear very much and we love you and we too as your family look forward to sharing our stories to your little brother!
Love ,
Julie

Can't believe it has been a month, yet it seems he's been around for a long time. Case is sooooo cute. Will be glad to hold him again soon.
As I look at the many pictures of Lindsay around my computer and house, I can see her in my mind's eye, taking care of Case as a big sister would. Seeing her make silly faces when he would cry and being the first one to make him smile. I can also she her being in charge of all the babies in heaven and taking good care of them. She was always so good to her doll babies. Case will definitely know about his big sister since we talk about her every day.
Emma is getting better at hearing thunder now as she thinks of "CeCe" (aka Lindsay) playing ball with Abbey (our black lab). Then she laughs and says I wish CeCe would stop throwing that ball to Abbey it's so loud. :)
Looking forward to seeing you all soon,
Love,
Mom/Granny

Oh Laura~ What a beautiful baby boy the Lord has blessed you with! He is such a precious, chubby thing! Thank you for sharing your heart with us...I have been facing some of the same thoughts as we near Luke's arrival...wanting so much for Annabelle to be here and to meet him, too. It's so hard but this is His plan and it is perfect...even when we wonder, we have to trust. I know that Lindsay is so proud of you. You are an amazing woman and I am so glad that our girls brought us together. Praying for many more smiles and precious moments with your boys!
Love to you~ Rebecca

PTL!!! I'm so glad that Case is well and here now. It's been a while since I checked your blogs so this was a nice surprise for today.

Take care of yourselves.
