Happy Birthday Lindsay Bear

Well the sun is shining here in New Hampshire. I so wish that Lindsay were here so we could have a big party with lots of balloons and cake. But she is having a bigger party in heaven today. I again wish heaven had skylights so we could all see her party with Jesus. Just before Lindsay was born my thinking had changed that she was a boy. But when she came out and Dr. Mulder said it was a girl I didn't believe him. We were so surprised and so happy to have a little girl. She was a joy from the minute she was born. Her smile lit up a room and her bear hugs were the best and she had her daddy's blue eyes. Lindsay Bear Mommy and Daddy and Tanner miss you so much and we love you so much. We hope your birthday in heaven is really special today. We will never forget you and who you were and not a day will go by that we won't think about you. Happy Birthday Lindsay!!!

Dear Jon, Laura and Tanner,
I woke up thinking about all of you and praying for you. We pray for you all of the time.
How is our precious little Tanner doing without his wonderful companion, Lindsay? Even though we know how blessed she is in Heaven with Jesus doesn't mean that the hole left behind in your family isn't difficult.
May God just rain his love on you and may you feel his peace and comfort constantly.
We love you all so very much and still grieve your great loss.
In Christ our Lord who knows what sorrow is,
Aunt Mavis and Uncle Howard

Happy Birthday Lindsay.

Being with Jesus has to be the best gift anyone can have!

You are a special little girl and you have blessed me as well as so many around the world.

Laura, Jon, Tanner, Bill, Jan & Zach,
Celebrate Lindsay today--she is so special. This is her special day!
I don't know just how you do that but I know the pain and tears are part of it but laughter and joy as well as you share memories, pictures and there will be Praise the Lord for even having this beautiful gift in your lives for such a short time.

God bless you all,
Love, hugs & prayers,
Miriam

This song just came to mind. I have put it on here before when Lindsay was in the hospital! But it's so true. Even though we don't understand, remember to Praise God even in this storm you are going through!

I was sure by now,God, that You would have reached down
and wiped our tears away,
stepped in and saved the day.
But once again, I say amen
and it's still raining
as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain,
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away.

Chorus:
And I'll praise you in this storm
and I will lift my hands
for You are who You are
no matter where I am
and every tear I've cried
You hold in your hand
You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

I remember when I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to You
and raised me up again
my strength is almost gone how can I carry on
if I can't find You
and as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away

Chorus

I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth
I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY..DEAR LINDSAY BEAR..
HAPPY..BIRTHDAY..TO...YOU!!!

I too woke up thinking about you Lindsay. I'm sure you are in a beautiful pink dress with cake on your face and in your pretty blond hair. Don't you worry a bit, cause we are all praying for Daddy, Mommy, & Tanner today. Hannah says she misses holding your hand on MOPS mornings. She is happy it's your birthday today.
"Dear Lindsay, I hope you have a great time opening your presents with God, Jesus and my Grandad:)"

I love you Jon, Laura, & Tanner,
The cake you made for Lindsay today I'm sure will tast a bit sweeter.

Enjoy the sunshine, enjoy the memories.

with all my love,
Carrie

"Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy."

May you find great peace and comfort as you celebrate Lindsay today- and may the stars of heaven remind you of that wonderful reunion that will come some day with her.

We're thinking of you and praying for you- Happy Birthday, dear Lindsay!

This is, indeed, a weekend of mixed emotions for each of you, Jon, Laura, and Tanner. I do rejoice in the precious gift of Lindsay that you were blessed with.
I weep with you as you miss her so.
I pray for you, that the Lord will continue to wrap His loving arms around you, and fill you with a peace that passes all understanding. I celebrate the life Lindsay had with you, I celebrate her safe arrival on Heaven's shore to be welcomed by the One who gave her life, and who gave her a new heart.I know these are, and will continue to be very difficult days for all of you, but be assured there are many of us who love you, and are praying for you. I know tomorrow is Father's Day, Jon, and I know the Lord gave Lindsay the perfect Dad !!
Precious ones, I send my love and my prayers, and I thank you for letting me share this journey with you.... Diane Nichols

I check the blog every day and some days are harder than others like yesterday and today, because of Lindsay's birthday and Father's Day. Even though I know Lindsay is happy being with Jesus, it is still hard for those of us left here missing Lindsay and hurting for Laura, Jon, Tanner, the grandparents, and other family members.

We love you and are here for you.
