Tuesday Afternoon Update

Lindsay is having a good day. Good output. Much more responsive with open eyes and moving her hands. She is taking some breaths on her own which is good.

Dr. Emani asked you to continue to pray about the infections, the lungs and kidneys, and for all those things to be functioning properly.

Dr. Emani also expressed his appreciation for the number of encouragement cards sent to him! Way to go.

It sounds like the hospital staff don't receive notes and cards. Would you add Heather and Moira (nurses) to your list? You can send their notes to Children's Hospital Boston -- CICU 8th Floor South.

Thanks for your encouragement! This is really cool!

Truly a blessed day!! Praise God.

Still praying for Lindsay's healing.

Please let the nurses and all the staff know they are prayed for. Wrote a note today thanking them for the care they are giving Lindsay--that should have included the care they give all their precious patients. God bless them!!

Trust you all will have a restful night. I'm sure big brother Tanner was happy to see his Grandpa and Uncle Zach!!

Love, hugs & prayers,
Miriam

Jon & Laura, Bill & Jan,
That was great news today. I had some prayer time tonight when I was rocking Regan to sleep. My prayer is that the Berlin heart will come in tomorrow.

Keep hanging on! God loves you and He loves Lindsey. "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who was tempted (I have read this can also mean "tested") in every way that we are, yet without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews 4:15-16. Because of our High Priest and because of his sacrifice for us, we are invited - rather, encouraged - to come into God's presence, right to His throne. We all join you there. Uncle Fenton

ALL I CAN SAY IS WE DO SERVE AN AWESOME GOD!!!

WOW, this has been an eye opener for me to see how much our daughter Faith is being such a little prayer warrior for Lindsay. Several times a day she asks for an update, and her prayers at night are so deep, definately heart felt to God. I'v e never heard her pray like this before. I have to say, the first minute she saw THE GENERAL the concern was for Lindsay. The pictures are great!!! SHE loves to look at them each time I check out the blog, she wants to know what is going on too, but we have to go through the pictures again too. She loves the smile one and the bandaid on the head one too!!! THANKS For being such a wonderful example to her, with how strong your faith is so our FAITH has really learned from your examples. OH YES by the way the children both missed you MRS. WELTE (Aunt Jan) Noah loved that he got to talk to you on Mother's Day. Hugs and kisses to all.

Jon, Laura, Tanner, Jen,
We agree with so many as they say Praise God! We were excited to come home from work today and see this new report. We also enjoyed seeing pictures of some of the children from the Mops group with Tanner and of course the other pictures as well. God bless and will keep praying tonight for the doctors, nurses and all those involved in this.
Love,
Dan and Judy Venable
