More good news. Lindsay's lungs are greatly improved!!! Her volume is up and the doctors are pleased. In fact, they are meeting to talk about putting her back on the active transplant list!!!
The was an infection that grew out in the culture, but they believe it is in the chest tube. Pray for clarity!!!
All in all -- we are thankful for this encouraging report. The Lord gave me a few nuggets from Psalm 106 this morning: Vs. 8 -- Nevertheless He saved them for the sake of HIS name that He might make HIS POWER known. -- vs. 6 Then they believed HIS words; they sang HIS praises.
Our prayer is that WHATEVER He wants to do through Lindsay's life will be for the sake of HIS name and that people would see HIS POWER!
Thanks for praying. Thanks for writing on the blog. Thanks for writing to the doctors. We are over 20,000 hits to the blog.

Oswald Chambers in his posting for today said "Even though you cannot see God right now and cannot understand what He is doing, you know Him." Not only do you know Him but thousands around the world are seeing Him in you right now, especially everyone in the hospital. You are His instruments to show His love and power.

PRAISE OUR GOD!!!
Bill,
Is has been my prayer as well that God's Glory be seen through your pretty girl... I believe that He has been seen.
Jon & Laura,
Greg the kids and I attended First Wednesday at church last night...It amazed me how many times I heard Lindsay's name spoken by the members of our church. Though I did not hear their prayers, it was very moving to have realized what a blessing our prayer time can be to others. Wow... one name being prayed for by a room full of believers. Lindsay was lifted VERY high last night...God has amazed me once again.
Thinking of you often...praying for you through out the day!
With all of my love,
Carrie & Kiddos :)
Thank you God for answered prayer. We'll keep praying asking God to strengthen little Lindsay's body, give the doctor's wisdom and skill in their treating her, and for God's comfort and peace to be upon you. We're praying for Warren and Phyl as they travel.
Love,
Susie and Steve

Hey y'all!
Sending prayers and love from Louisiana. We are so happy to be home, but it feels as if part of our hearts are there with y'all and Lindsay. Your family is so dear to us and we are praying constantly for the best outcome. We know that God is the Great Physician and he will prevail over this disease in his own time. If y'all need anything please let us know. Tell everyone hello and give Lindsay a big kiss from Logan.
Love and God Bless,
Joshua, Kayla, and Logan Poret

What at thrill it was for me to be sitting in Keswick's autitorium with 1000+ women and hear the collective "ahhhh" when Lindsay's picture was on the screen for all to see..Also great to hear Jan's voice as she welcomed the ladies to hear Liz, and enjoy the time of fellowship together. You can be sure that all those dear ladies will be real prayer warriors for precious Lindsay and her family. What a HUGE priviledge it is to see God at work. He truly is AWESOME!!I know it has been challenging for Mommy & Daddy and Brother Tanner as Lindsay's condition changes almost momentarily, but isn't amazing to know our wonderful Lord knows what each moment will bring, and is able to give you the peace and grace to make the incredible jouney each day. Just keep on keeping on with the faith He will give you, and know prayers are being poured before His throne in a steady stream. Lovingly, Diane Nichols
We PRAISE our Father for his goodness, He still shows us His miracles everyday! We will continue to pray and PRAISE!!
It's All About Him....Linda Lazenby
Dear God, please continue to breathe your healing breath into Lindsay's lungs. You are an awesome and powerful God. Lindsay's life, and the testimony of ALL her family continues to be a testimony to You and continues to point to You through all of this. You are worthy to be praised. Thank you for each little success in this journey of Lindsay's. Please bless and give wisdom to the doctors and nurses as they continue to give care and make decisions about Lindsay's treatment. Thank you God. In Jesus most precious name, Amen and Amen.
Have been more thankful for all we have, all we take for granted, all we never think to say "Thank You Lord" for;
- a pumping heart
- functioning lungs and livers and kidneys and...
- hospitals and doctors and nurses
- that which is the product of modern technology from a Berlin heart to computers and blogs like this that have caused us to pray and to praise
- the vastness of the family of our God
- your willingness to share your Lindsay Bears needs and your own
So thankful that we have reason to say every day is Thanksgiving Day for we have much to be thankful for and you all are in that list.
We continue to pray and to praise.
LVS
