Thursday Evening Update

Urgent Prayer Request

Dr. Mayer has scheduled surgery for 1:00 PM tomorrow afternoon pending no complications tonight and several equipment pieces that need to arrive by tomorrow. This will be open heart surgery and obviously has major risks.

Lindsay has been very stable throughout the day and has rested comfortably. Please pray for Heather as she cares for her tonight, and that nurse Auntie Moira will get a good night rest for tomorrow.

Please pray that Laura, Jon and Tanner will have a good night of rest as well as an infusion of Philippians 4:6-8 "peace" and Duet. 31:8 trust.

Laura just shared with me the passage that the Lord gave her today: John 4:46-54 "And there was a certain royal official whose son lay sick at Capernaum. 47 When this man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was close to death. 48 "Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders," Jesus told him, "you will never believe." 49 The royal official said, "Sir, come down before my child dies." 50 Jesus replied, "You may go. Your son will live." The man took Jesus at his word and departed. 51 While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living. 52 When he inquired as to the time when his son got better, they said to him, "The fever left him yesterday at the seventh hour." 53 Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, "Your son will live." So he and all his household believed. 54 This was the second miraculous sign that Jesus performed, having come from Judea to Galilee." By the way -- Laura looked at the foot note and the seventh hour is 1:00 PM!!!

Again we thank you for your prayers and for your partnership.

Like a river glorious, is God’s perfect peace,
Over all victorious, in its bright increase;
Perfect, yet it floweth, fuller every day,
Perfect, yet it groweth, deeper all the way.
Refrain
Stayed upon Jehovah, hearts are fully blest
Finding, as He promised, perfect peace and rest.

Hidden in the hollow of His blessed hand,
Never foe can follow, never traitor stand;
Not a surge of worry, not a shade of care,
Not a blast of hurry touch the spirit there.

Every joy or trial falleth from above,
Traced upon our dial by the Sun of Love;
We may trust Him fully all for us to do.
They who trust Him wholly find Him wholly true.

Rest well tonight, all of you up there in Boston at Lindsay's bedside. You'll all be well-covered with prayer through the night as well as tomorrow. When you are too weary to pray, the rest of us will do it for you! When she goes into surgery at the "seventh hour", she and the doctors (and all involved in any way with the surgery) will be bathed in our prayers. What a family you all are! We love you all. God bless and sleep well. The Jaegers

I searched for the words to "Be Still My Soul", and this is the first website that appears. If you have speakers, you can hear the instrumentals being played.

http://www.cyberhymnal.org/htm/b/e/bestill.htm

Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side.
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In every change, He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul: thy best, thy heavenly Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Be still, my soul: thy God doth undertake
To guide the future, as He has the past.
Thy hope, thy confidence let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul: the waves and winds still know
His voice Who ruled them while He dwelt below.

Be still, my soul: when dearest friends depart,
And all is darkened in the vale of tears,
Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
Who comes to soothe thy sorrow and thy fears.
Be still, my soul: thy Jesus can repay
From His own fullness all He takes away.

Be still, my soul: the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord.
When disappointment, grief and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love’s purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul: when change and tears are past
All safe and blessèd we shall meet at last.

Be still, my soul: begin the song of praise
On earth, believing, to Thy Lord on high;
Acknowledge Him in all thy words and ways,
So shall He view thee with a well pleased eye.
Be still, my soul: the Sun of life divine
Through passing clouds shall but more brightly shine.

I pray that souls will be still before God this night and throughout tomorrow.

At choir tonight we were randomly flipping through the hymnal and singing whatever came up. Two of the pieces brought Lindsay and you all to mind, one of them was Like a River Glorious. It has been so interesting to see how God has given different people similar thoughts that lead to Lindsay.
We will be praying for you tomorrow. May you ALL know God's perfect peace. We do pray that you will see that miracle, and that many would believe because of little Lindsay Bear.
Love you guys! The Eisners

When Abraham went up to offer his son God provided a lamb!! We believe God is providing now for Lindsay with the doctors and nurses and this new heart that will be used to restore Lindsay. Jesus is the stability of our times. Rest in Him tonight and His comforting words to you. We wrap you in love and prayers.

ISAIAH 40:28-31 – Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting GOD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, and his understanding no one can fathom. HE gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. THEY WILL SOAR ON WINGS LIKE EAGLES; THEY WILL RUN AND NOT GROW WEARY, THEY WILL WALK AND NOT BE FAINT.

Laura, Jon, and ALL

We have been praying, and will continue to pray -- especially at
1:00 p.m. We've been asking God to give wisdom to the doctors and nurses and the entire team caring for Lindsay.

Your testimony has been outstanding and we praise the Lord for your strength which we know comes from Him.

We check the blog several times each day . . . and are so grateful to God when we receive encouraging news.

We were pleased to see your family picture added to the blog, and particularly to see your smiling face, Laura. That made us feel even closer to you!

Keep trusting . . . He'll carry you through. We're looking forward to the next bit of news.

With our love, and continued prayers,

Bill and Grace

There are certainly no coincidences where God is concerned. I am sure that God gave Laura that scripture for good reason. We will be praying for Lindsay and her "team" today in the Robinson family and in the Seacoast Christian family.
