Friday Morning Update

Here is some news to bless your heart. We posted the Urgent Prayer Request re: the bleeding at 10:09 PM last night. God answered your prayers! The bleeding stopped.

The night nurse said that it was amazing that at 10:00 PM the bleeding stopped! Praise the Lord.

"It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear." Isaiah 65:24

"Call to ME and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things ..." Jeremiah 33:3

My son-in-law, Garrett, asked me to look up the word miracle. Here is the dictionary definition: an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.

Thank you for praying that God will wow and amaze the doctors with what HE, and HE alone can do.

Thanks for posting your comments on the blog.

Our God reigns! We have learned from personal experience that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. I am reminded when Jesus was walking on the water and the disciples were in the boat and Peter asked Jesus to call him to come to him. Peter was fine as long as he was looking at Jesus, but as soon as he looked at the storm, he started sinking. Praise God that Jesus reached out His mighty hand and bought Peter to Himself. This is love. Lindsay is in the most powerful hands there are. We are all praying for this precious child, and for you all.
Blessings. Carol, Belmont

Praise God! I wake up frequently(d/t my sleeping disorder) but the last few weeks Lindsay is always on my mind when I wake up. In the morning I run to the computer to check how she is doing. We always check when we get home from work as well. Thank you so much for your faithful updates. There are people at out work places who are faithfully praying as well. We are praying this will be a day of great advancement in the healing process. Love you, A Gwen & U Del

We apply the Blood of Jesus to Lindsay as the blood of the Passover Lamb was applied to the doorposts and proclaim that she will be saved, healed and restored through Jesus her Lamb. We apply the Blood to the doorposts of her heart for total protection and healing. Amen

To God be the glory!! We're praising, thanking, and trusting HIM as we pray, "I'm convinced: You can do anything and everything. Nothing and no one can upset your plans." Job 42:2(The Message)

Praise God! I too wake up in the middle of the night and pray for Lindsay and all the fam. Our oldest Ellie, almost 10, often asks me how Lindsay is doing when she sees me on the blog... I told her that she is doing better and hanging in there... her response was "Oh Yeah!". We are continuing to pray for MORE miracles!!

Hi Jon & Laura,
I was talking to my son Steve in Tennessee last night. He called me about teen boy angst stuff and then he said that all that paled to Lindsay's struggle. Reading the blog has really put his own silly struggles (his words) in perspective. Thanks Lindsay! We all need that from time to time because any struggle is still a burden to us even when it is small. Steve told me that they had spent significant time in prayer for Lindsay and her family during their youth group prayer circle time and she was added to the prayer chain at his church.

I also had one other thought about the Dr. who does not believe in miracles. My son Steve is a miracle that just couldn't be and that word appears in his medical chart written by my doctor. My doctor was over 70 years old and the world's leading infertility expert in my condition. He was partners with the guy who did the first invitro baby-baby Louise. He dealt with the most desperate cases and it was his life's work and he told me that only once ever did he write miracle on a chart. He told me that he had done his best for me, but it hadn't worked and I have all the labwork to prove it. Then, God answered our prayers. My miracle child is now praying for your miracle. My doctor didn't believe in miracles either, but it still happened. There just was no other explanation. Luckily God doesn't need them to believe for his powers to work. I thank God for his goodness and mercy toward us. God does answer prayer and Lindsay's story is testament to that fact. Praise God for how He is working on Lindsay even now and how He is sustaining you both and your families through this trial. We are all witnesses to the power of the Holy Spirit and the power of prayer. We will continue to uphold you in prayer and we will continue to pray for that miracle for Lindsay Bear!

God Bless,

Praise God!!!

I desperately need God's reassurance that He can work a miracle in a situation in my life, and the cessation of Lindsay's bleeding strengthens my faith. The cards to the doctors are in the mail. I look forward to more great news!

Laura, Jon, and family,
I know that you know our God is awesome and he hears all your requests and answers it in his own time, not ours, which is the hard part. I prayed with Logan last night for Lindsay and your family. Laura, I admire you and Jon's strength through this trying time. You are exactly the mommy and daddy Lindsay needs, and God knew that when he chose you. Everytime you look into her eyes, picture her in the future. Attending 1st grade, coloring pictures, picking at Tanner, and just holding her tight. This is what will keep you going. Believe me, I know how hard it is not to hold you child for weeks. Keep your faith, as you so genuinely do, and God will walk you through this journey, holding your hands. We have fallen in love with your family and will pray for you constantly.
Love: Joshua, Kayla, and Logan Poret

I'm believing that GOD has bigger things for Lindsay than laying in a hospital bed. What a beautiful child she is.
