From Boston.........












Tanner checking out Lindsay's Berlin heart, which arrived this morning courtesy of British Airways. Now we need Lindsay's infections to clear up. The doctor called her situation "dire" tonight, so we covet your prayers. We thank you all for the support you have all been this far and wil continue to be.

Looks like a mighty big heart for such a little girl, but not nearly as big as Our Heavenly Fathers heart. Rest in His loving arms tonight knowing He wants the best for your family. Praying the infection is gone and she can go back on the list tomorrow. Laura missed talking to you tonight,your Dad tried to get you on the phone while we were with him. Praying without ceasing. Hey Tanner that looks like a pretty cool box! Big enough for a club house! I hope the stuff inside fixes Lindsays heart so you two can play again! Tell Lindsay I said Hi and pat her litle hand for me! I hope I can come down so you can show me around some more!! Tell mom and Dad I love them and I love you too!!

Laura and John, we have been thinking of you and praying often. Lindsay is such a beautiful and strong little girl. Stay strong. We will be praying that this infection goes away and stays away.

Laura, Jon, Tanner and Lindsay Bear: I attended the memorial service for Aunt Joyce Linde tonight and was overwhelmed with the number of people from all the churches we have been a part of that know Lindsay's story and are praying. Mr. Linde told me tonight that as Mrs. Linde was getting ready to go to heaven he was hoping that Lindsay could have had her heart because it was in such good shape. That brought me to tears ... of course it doesn't take much these days.

All the way home in the car I was crying out to God for Lindsay's life. Mom said tonight that the Doctor used the word "hope" numerous times in the discussion tonight. I remembered the verse that Sister Glenda and DeEtta gave me this weekend: "May the God of HOPE fill you will all joy and peace as your trust in HIM, so that you may OVERFLOW WITH HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13.

Remember Lindsay, Pop-pop loves you a bushel and a peck, and a barrel and a heap -- and tonight I will be talking to Jesus in my sleep about you -- about you. I long to hear you say, "'Gain Pop,'Gain!"

Dear Laura, Jon, Tanner, Lindsay, Jan and Bill-

Just checking in so I can get my prayer update for tonight. I remember when Matt was in the hospital that I had such comfort knowing others were praying and carrying some of the load overnight. I am always so encouraged by the blog and all of those around the world praying for Lindsay and hope that it is a great encouragement to all of you.

It is great to know that the Berlin heart is there and ready for Lindsay when she is ready for it. We'll be praying for the infection to finish clearing-

Hugs to you- we're keeping in touch with PopPop who knows that the bushel and a peck song brought me to tears in Borders last Friday night- and again tonight! I just can't get it out of my mind- but it is a great reminder to pray for Lindsay!

Praying from the deepest part of me for it to be God's will to say "Go" to this infection and all the yuck that comes with it and restore our precious Lindsay.

hello jon, laura, lindsay, tanner, and jan,
please know that we have been and will continue praying for you. there have been many days since this journey began, that i was crying out to Jesus for you.
i check for updates often, and read the comments as well. it is really amazing. there are folks all over the world praying for you! which means all day, all night. pretty cool, especially since we serve and worship a God whom neither slumbers nor sleeps.
i told bill that i had not posted a comment. he said that i should, that you read them all. i figured you had enough to do, and i don't have anything eloquent or beautiful to say. i only say Amen and echo so many of the other comments. tonight i cannot sleep, so i was praying, and decided to get up give it a try!
please just know that Henry, Abigail, Danielle and I are all praying. The girls have shared with their youth group and friends as well. i know that God has already done amazing things on this journey, and i'm looking forward to seeing HIM work even more in the future. it is going to be incredible.

We are encouraged once again but the outpouring of love that God has for you all. We continue to pray, cry out, seek the Lord's will for you all as you walk through these difficult days.

18:6 - In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help.

The God we know as our Father is a God that does miracles, I believe that precious Lindsay will wake up with a smile on her face as usual and have a working heart with no surgery, God is good and I pray and claim victory in Lindsey's help. I pray for all the family as well we have never met, but we are a family because we all have the righteous Father who died for our sins and has poured his blood all over us. Lindsey has that blood over her as well, but when God says it is time he will soak her and dip her in his mighty blood and she will be born again, I continue praying for all of u just continue having strong faith, we are with u as well on this walk. This is a war just like david and goliath but remember we can face the giant, we with faith and belief in out mighty God will be in victory for HIS glory, Love always Arlene
