Saturday Noon Update

Here is the latest update:

The doctors have called for a family meeting that will take place some time in the next several hours. From what I can determine, Lindsay's situation continues to deteriorate will new complications. The doctors and nurses are really scrambling to figure out what to do ... they are all emotionally wrapped up in Lindsay's life. Her heart has become theirs.

My heart has been torn as well as your -- God please heal her! I don't know the mind of God for Lindsay. I know what I want -- I want to have her on my lap right now so that I can do "this little piggy" and sing "I love you a bushel and a peck." I cannot even begin to fathom what Jon and Laura are going through right now. My heart aches for them.

I do know that I continue to cry out to God for HIS WILL. After all, He knows what it is like to give up a Son. Would you please join us in praying for GOD'S WILL for Lindsay's life, for wisdom for the doctors and nurses, and the peace, comfort and strength for Jon and Laura.

Our ride has been a roller coaster. But you have stood with us in with your prayers and tears. And we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dearest Jon & Laura, Our hearts go out to you! If only we could take a miniscule part of every human heart that is praying for you and give it to Lindsay. She would have the strongest, healthiest heart ever! We know that we must wait for God's will. We don't always know or understand God's will. We pray for continued strength for you guys and for wisdom for the medical teams.

Dear Laura & Jon, Bill & Jan, how my heart aches with yours and cries out on behalf of your little girl with the sweetest face and a tiny heart. Who can know the mind of the Lord and what He wants to accomplish in each of you through this struggle for Lindsay. We know God's will is perfect and He makes no mistakes, but that makes it no easier to accept His Will. I continue to pray for each of you and for the doctors/nurses who are tending to Lindsay. May God's peace and love envelop you today as you wait on Him.

Dear Groen and Welte families -
We continue to pray for you. Remember the God that sovereignly authorized you to pass you through these experiences will also be with you through them! There are many verses in HIS word to confirm this. We will pray that you will feel HIS peace as you face the times ahead. Laura - Mr. Steve would love to be there to give you his big bear hug. We love you.

God has a plan.

Do you know the poem the weaver...it says we see the underside, but God sees the pattern from above. His view is not always our view.

God is faithful...always.
God is good...always.

"He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." Psalm 61:2

Laura & Jon, My heart is breaking for you. I can only offer you my love and prayers. What you are going through now is unimaginable to me and I struggle, as you surely do, to understand God's plan for Lindsay's life.

Whatever happens today or tomorrow or 10 years from now - God already had it planned. I know that doesn't make your pain any less, but I pray with all that is in me that you continue to trust in that truth. I love you guys so much and my soul aches for you.

I am praying that you will feel God wrapping His arms around you in this time of unspeakable turmoil. Please know how much you are loved.

Constantly praying for healing for Lindsay. Although it is difficult to see God's plan in all of this, I will also pray for His will to be done. I don't even have words to express how I hurt on your behalf, Jon and Laura. But, you have all been such an amazing witness through your trust and hope in God throughout this time.

Love you!

Dear Jon, Laura and Family,

Continuing to stand and kneel with you in prayer for your precious baby. I showed my own 2 year old daughter Lindsay's blog and told her that we needed to pray for Lindsay to get better. Bless her heart...she took my hand and said "Jesus help Lindsay get better". We're praying!!

Our God is an awesome God! We will continue to come before Him for Lindsay...and...all of you.

God Bless You,
Lisa Sheldon and Family
