Late Saturday Afternoon Update

The kids met with the head of the Cardiology department and he is still holding on to the premise that Lindsay is very critical, but not hopeless. There was talk about putting a stomach tube in to help with drainage from the stomach, but he was not recommending that because of the risk of infection. Should the kidneys become and issue, they could do dialysis right off of the ECMO machine. They are also still contemplating moving forward with the Berline Heart.

We asked for clarity, and God has been answering those prayers. We will keep you posted.

A statement that helped me many, many years ago is "God is too good to be unkind, but too wise to make a mistake."
We can trust Him.
We are praying and checking the blog constantly.
In His mercy,

Dear Jon and Laura,
What a day huh! There are no words to talk about this kind of ordeal only tears and hugs. We will pray that God's will for Lindsay's life will be made clear to the Doctor's and to you. We are still praying for that miracle and we are still holding all of you up in prayer. You guys continue to be an awesome example of the kind of trust and faith that God calls each of us to develop. I hope that Mother's Day brings brighter news and I hope you have a great one with your family.

God Bless,

Lisa Pampreen

Dear Jon & Laura & Tanner,
We are still praying many times a day for Lindsay and the rest of you too. God has a purpose and plan for all you are going through. Hang on to Jesus and each other. We have memorized Philippians 4:4-7 when times have been tough for us and we pray that you may find hope in those verses and many others. We will be praying and keeping you on our mind in the next days and we will expect to hear for more miracles in Lindsay's struggle. Love in Christ, Ron & Ava Christians & family

The recent setbacks are disappointing, Lindsay is in my thoughts and the angel pin over my heart.

Jon, Laura, and Jan, I didn't see you again on Thursday evening to let you know that I will be back to work on Tuesday evening. As always, I will look forward to updates until then.

Tanner, I hope you are enjoying the new view of the boats in Boston Harbor!

Your faith and strength in the Lord has been an inspiration to all of us as well.

Blessings beyond measure be yours. from our faithful, all loving, and compassionate Father.

Jon and Laura,
Joshua and I are thinking about you constantly in Louisiana and we are praying all the time that God will do his will in Lindsay's life. You are such wonderful, strong parents and we pray that you will be able to hold your baby girl soon. She knows how much you love her and she feels it every minute you are with her. Keep the faith. God will not let you down and he will do what is best for Lindsay. We love you and will continue to pray. Let us know if there is anything else we can do.
Love, Joshua, Kayla, and Logan

We were reminded once that Paul told us to give thanks in everything. I know Paul probably wasn't thankful for the big rats or mice in his cell but it was those times that others came to Christ and more Scripture was written. In your situation you are finding much to be thankful for but some days we know it must be harder than others. We are thankful that God brought you to NH where you were close to family and so thankful you are a part of our church family. We know that you feel so blest with your children but know this Mother's day is difficult. We are praying for you that you will have much joy and may you have a special time together. You must have every picture on the walls memorized from the parking lot to the nursery but may you find some humor in spite of it all.
Happy Mothers Day!
love,
Dan and Judy Venable
