Monday Evening Update

This was a quiet day -- I guess that is a good thing.
Please pray that Lindsay's ...

"output" will continue to improve,
the infection will be gone
the lung will continue to improve
that God will give divine wisdom to the doctors who have so many decisions to make
housing for Thursday and beyond

Bottom line: thanks for praying. We love you.

Goodnight sweet Lindsay. May you rest in the arms of Jesus and everyone get a good night's rest knowing that God is in control. And to think when this all started, I had no idea what a "blog" was. Now I know it a way for the family of God to share love and concern for one another. God bless all of you. I eagerly await the news for tomorrow to learn what the Lord already knows!
Goodnight from joann. P.S. My kids in PR are praying for Lindsay too

We continue to pray- and remember you all as the days are weeks and months now. We're praying for Lindsay and God's healing in her heart. We're also praying for Jon and Laura and Tanner, Jan, Jon's parents, Bill and Zach at home, and all of the siblings as well. We'll be praying for the housing situation to be resolved too!

Tomorrow starts National Nurse's Week- so I'll be praying an extra special prayer for all of Lindsay's nurses (and others) that care and teach and help in such a professional way! Thanks for all you do for Lindsay and the other patients!!

"Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10.

Love and prayers on this still and quiet night- Aunt Sharon, Uncle Matt, Kelsey and Jared

Jon and Laura,
As I read the blog this morning I am reminded of the lyrics to this Delirious? song:

In the secret
in the quiet place
in the stillness You are there
in the secret
in the quiet hour i wait
only for You
'cuz i want to know you more

i want to know you
i want to hear your voice
i want to know you more
i want to touch you
i want to see your face
i want to know you more

God is still God even on the quiet days. We know that it is often in the quiet places that we can hear his voice. Know also that you are in our thoughts and prayers even when you do not hear from us.

We missed you in church on Sunday. I thought of you when we held hands to sing our closing hymn after communion. I pictured our hands reaching to Boston to include you in our worship.

We will continue to pray for all of you.

In Him,

Cheri Wilson

Good morning Lindsay Girl~
I was awake early this morning to walk. (I know can you believe it) But I was thinking about you. Melia and I were chatting about you and when I came home and Uncle Garrett went to work I sat and prayed for you!
I look forward to seeing those big blue eyes again and that sweet smile you have! Emma talks about you and calls you on her phone! She loves you! There are so many people praying! One day we will be able to tell you just how special you are and how many hearts you have touched. I know you have touched my heart! I just wanted to say Good morning to you! I hope you have another good day! I will be thinking about you often and praying for you! I love you Bear and send you big hugs and kisses your way! Keep fighting big girl.
Love ya, Aunt Julie

Dear Jon and Laura...I just wanted you to know that the Lord brings you and your family to mind the minute I wake and then right before I go to sleep, as well as many times during the day...in this wonderful family we are all joined and I almost feel that Lindsay is one of my grandchildren...I never forget Tanner either, as this must be difficult for him also...I eagerly wait today's news with hope that we will see more improvement..Romans 1:12...God bless, Melanie Vara (Whiting Bible)

God is so good. God is so good. God is so good is so good to us.

He answers prayer. He answers prayer. He answers prayer, He's so good to us.

He loves us so, He loves us so, He loves us so, He's so good to us.

Fix your eyes on the One who loves you and is so good to you. Thanks for keeping us posted. We care deeply and are praying fervently.

Good morning, Groens and Weltes - after last week, no news does indeed seem like good news. I hope today the news really is good and that we move each day closer to the Berlin Heart, a transplant, or (please God) the complete healing of Lindsay's first heart.

Romans 15:13

Love you guys,

Sus

May God continue to bless you with His peace as you rest in Him. God be with the family as they sit in your care. Let them know clearly where their housing is to be. Continue to give Lindsay strength and healing. Be with those family members who are not able to be at Lindsay's bedside and hold them closely. You are a great and wonderful God who is LORD over all. Thank you for all you have done so far, and continue to do in the lives of this family. In Jesus most WONDERFUL name. Amen and Amen.

You're in our thoughts and prayers.
