Wednesday Afternoon Update

Lindsay is now on the smaller vent. They have also given medication into her lungs to help open them up. Please pray that this will keep the lungs working properly. The infection is under control and she will continue to be on antibiotics for quite awhile. All her other organs are working well. She still needs some days of resting, adjusting levels and taking off fluids. We will keep you posted. Again, thanks for your prayers, blogs and cards. They continue to be a great source of encouragement to all or us.

Praise the Lord for good news. Just want to let you know that we'll keep praying, especially for the clearing of her lungs. Great to know she is on a smaller machine!! May the Lord continue to guide the team in caring for Lindsay. Hope that the housing situation has an answer very soon.
Thinking about Tanner too--may he have strength & comfort even though he may not understand it all. Praying for all.!!

What a journey you've been on . . .and what a blessing to be carried on this journey in the arms of Jesus! I've NEVER read a blog like this before, so this makes my 1st blog comment! I have been praying for Lindsay, since my dear friend (and prayer warrior) Donna B. shared your family's need for prayers w/ me! I will continue to remember your precious child in my prayers and lift you to the Throne of our Lord! May God grant you His perfect peace... in all of your decisions, your time at the hospital next to Lindsay, your time w/ family and time at rest! With love and concern for each of you! Amy Potts
