Friday Morning Update

We are at 11:59! These next several hours are going to be very critical in determining the next steps for Lindsay. She had an issue during the night with low blood pressures and it would appear that there is another infection. The lungs are a concern and we think there now may be an issue with the kidneys.

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you." Isaiah 43:2

Please uphold Laura, Jon, Tanner, Jan, and Warren and Phyllis who are away.

Praying! Jon and Laura and Grands...
Be assured God is in control!!

Dear Bill and Jan,
Sherry had told us about Lindsay and as grandparents our hearts ache with yours. We have had some close calls with our grands, but nothing like what you are describing.
We know that God can give peace that is beyond understanding and we're praying for that supernatural gift for you and your family.
Your sorrow is double edged - first for your grandchild and second for your child. How much we want to protect them from this kind of fear and pain. When we don't know where to go in scripture for help, we usually land at Isaiah 45:2-3 where God promises to give us treasures in the darkness, riches stored in secret places, so that we will know God is our God, the One Who calls us by name.
We pray you will see those treasures and know they are designed by your Father to help turn your heart toward Him.
In His grip with you,
Chuck and Sharon Betters

God brought this little child to these parents and grandparents for a good reason. He knew that they would be there to love this little one through all these ups and downs. And, he knew that even though they might experience heartbreak, they also would experience unconditional love too. So we have to know that this is all in God's plan. He has his reasons. Prayers will continue.

As I read today's blog my heart cries out to God for healing for Lindsay and strength for her family to get through another day of waiting. Each day brings new joy and sometimes heartache but be assured God is in complete control and he hears our prayers.

Dearest Laura and Jon

Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We know well the reality of your hearts heaviness right now...
"When my heart is overwhelmed, led me to the Rock that is higher than I."
The Rock of His care and love is where you will find comfort for the ache that we know is there.

In our hearts we are still in the midst of it with you and we will continue to pray and seek God for His will in this.
We will continue to lift our voices toward heaven for your strength and your ability to be there beside Lindsay.

We will continue to cry out for complete restoration and healing of her whole entire body.
We will continue to hope on top of hope.

Continue to talk to her, and whisper to her all the mama and papa words that you know comforts her soul.
And trust Yawah for everything...no matter what...
He is never ever far, because He is always near...

Cling to Him and know that His love for you two and for precious Lindsay endures forever...

Everyday we pray. Nicole, one of my 6th grade girls, prayed earnestly this morning that Lindsay would have a good day and do better.
May the Lord comfort and strengthen you all in with His love and His grace this day.

I just can't get away! I have been addicted to visiting the blog to see how Lindsay is doing on my days off. (I have also been eating sweets like CRAZY because I eat them so much at work....thanks to a very GENEROUS family who likes to feed their nurses!) Keep your heads up! You know more than anybody that the days are filled with many ups and downs. My thoughts and prayers are always with you!! See you on Saturday.

I will be praying that God would make His will perfectly clear as to His plans for Lindsay.

Romans 8:38-39: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

God loves you all more than you can possibly imagine.

Although it has been a few days since I last commented, y'all have been in my heart, my thoughts, and my prayers. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've checked the blog to see how Lindsay's doing.

As I was thinking about Lindsay this morning, the verse that Bill posted on the blog today came to mind...before I read the blog. Trusting you will know His presence, His love, His peace that passes understanding, His strength through each and every minute of the day.

I know this verse has been mentioned often, but it has been one of my favorites for a long time, so I'll mention it again.

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Continuing to pray for your precious little Lindsay Bear and for all of you as well.

With love, hugs, and prayers,

Susan M.
