Wednesday Evening Update

This has been a cool day of encouragement. The Lord has given Jon a sense of HIS peace in a very amazing way.

There are two major prayer requests for tonight:

1. Pray that God will heal the infection.

2. Pray that Lindsay will be able to urinate on her own (Someday she will shoot us for putting potty requests about her on the blog!) This will sure help reduce the swelling.

Praise the Lord that the technicians were able to spot a clot in the ECMO tubing and replace the tubing. God has blessed us with many special caregivers.

Here is a picture of two of my favorites ... Heather is on the left, and Moira (Meow) is on the right! Praise the Lord for these special angels of mercy.
Thanks again for your love and prayers. Over 10,000 people have checked out the blog.

Jon and Laura,
We continue to pray for you guys and Lindsay. It is awesome to hear about some of the progress Lindsay is making. Today this song came to mind. It is comforting to know that even though we don't understand what will come of this situation, God IS completely in control and has a plan. We'll keep on praying for Lindsay to be healed. Let us know if you need anything taken care of up here. Joe and Lydia

You are the author of knowledge
You can redeem what's been done
You hold the present and all that's to come
Until your everlasting kingdom

Lord I don't know where all this is going
or how it all works out
lead me to peace that is past understanding
A peace beyond all doubt

You are the God of tomorrow
Turning the darkness to dawn
Lifting the hopeless with hope to go on
You are the rock of all salvation

Ohh Lord, you are the author
Redeeming what's been done
You hold us in the present
And all that is to come

Lord we don't know where all this is going
Or how it all works out
Lead us to peace that is past understanding
A peace beyond all doubt

Praise God for the encouraging reports!!! My two youngest children (9&10)have been incredible prayer warriors on Lindsay's behalf. They both shared with their Sunday School classes on Sunday and asked everyone to be praying for Lindsay. My heart sang yesterday as each time I would read them the updates on the blog, I would hear Hannah on the phone calling all of her friends and telling them the latest thing to be praying for!! YOU have ministered to US through all of this, and we will continue to pray in Jesus' name for the infection to be gone. Praying for rest for all of you.

Our God is an AWESOME God !
Praise Him for ALL He has done and continues to do in little Lindsay's precious body. Thanking the Lord for giving strength to Lidsay's family and friends when they feel weak and weary.
He WILL sustain you.
I learned about Lindsay through my mother. She is friends with Bill and has done volunteer work at Keswick. It is just so amazing to me to see how many people Lindsay has touched in her own special way and how many thousands of people have united in Christ, believing that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE WHEN THE LORD IS IN CONTROL ! Lindsay's beautiful blue eyes and smile just melt my heart. She is absolutely precious.
I have been and will continue to pray for the Lord to heal Lindsay and continue to sustain the family as He does His work as the Almighty Healer.
May the Lord's comfort surround each and every one of you as we all continue to pray. May His presence be real to you in a very special way. God bless you and thank you for sharing Lindsay's story and being so diligent in keeping "us" posted as to her condition. We anxiously await each new update thus helping us to learn more of how and what to pray for.
Keeping you in our prayers and close to our hearts, Michelle

Thanks to all of you for your encouragement and prayers! Last nite as we waited (and waited)through the surgery, the Lord kept bringing this song to my mind.It was a real comfort and affirmation of His faithfulness and care for me - and all of us and our "Little Pink". So I thought I would share some of the lyrics of this Matt Redman song with you.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear

And even when I'm caught in the middle of the storms of this life I won't turn back, I know You are near

And I will fear no evil, for my God is with me
And if my God is with me, whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?

Oh no, You never let go, Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go, in every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go, Lord, You never let go of me - (or Lindsay)

Yes, I can see a light that is coming
For the heart that holds on
And there will be an end to these troubles,
But until that day comes
Still I will praise You, still I will praise You

Oh no, You never let go,..........

Holding on to and Trusting Him,
Grandma G.

And yes, the little goodbye "wave" today was precious! Grandma loves you Sweetheart.

We love you and pray earnestly for Lindsay and the entire family.
