Wedneday Noon Update

We continue to see progress. They are going to open her chest again and do a "clean and rinse" procedure and make sure there is no spread of infection. They seem to be getting control of the infection and there is no sign of any new infection.

The Berlin Heart as arrived and if they can get rid of the infection, they could hook that up as early as this weekend. Once the infection is under control, she will be placed back on the active list for a heart.

Thank you again for your love, prayers, encouragement, and for checking the blog. Don't forget to sign in and leave a message. If you need help with that, let me know! The kids read every one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Laura, Jon,Jan and Bill,
I'm thanking the Lord for Lindsay's progress--and asking the Lord to hasten the healing of the infection so that the articical heart can be hooked up and Lindsay can get back on the waiting list for for a heart trasplant. Remember our Lord is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or think.

Jonathan and Laura,
We want to make sure that our love is mixed in with all the others' that you are receiving these days. We love you much and are often in prayer for you dear ones during these days. From experience we know the amazing sustaining grace of our dear Father above, and we know you are tasting it now as well.

As you wait in hope and prayer, may you sense the very real keeping and enabling mercies of God. May you continue receiving hourly grace for hourly needs, and may the experience of that grace be so full and sweet that you will be in awe of His love.

We love you.
Tim and Gayline

We come beside you in prayer and praise to the Lord. May this encourage you as you wait on Him.

Oh Lord, let this trouble, this trial, cause me to be still and know that you are God.
Use this tension as surface tension to hold me, clinging like a droplet after a storm, patiently suspended, yet holding fast to my Vine of Life.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him. Psalm 37:7

In Prayer,
Bob and Cheryl Rigsby

What wonderful news! It seems that everything is falling into place. It is reassuring to know that God is a God of order. He set "the sun, moon, and stars in their courses above."

What a joy to watch God at work!! There have been so many "God things" (to quote Bill) that it makes me want to shout and cry at the same time.
Even when we think things are "wrong" they are still in God's time.
Much love, hugs and prayers,
Miriam

Dear Jon and Laura,
I just put three copies of my book in the mail for you to give out as you see fit. Unfortunately, I'm sure you will find people who can be helped by the book. We are praying for Lance and Logan, too.
Please know we are in constant prayer for you and for Lindsay. We are also praying for little Tanner that he will have positive memories of this time.

Dear Jon & Laura,

Great News! It sounds like this trial has only strengthened your faith and frankly a lot of ours as well. God is awesome! Recently, Frank had a co-worker whose spouse died of cancer and he went to the funeral. Of course it is always sad when someone dies before their time, but this family didn't have any hope in Christ. Frank thought that more tragic than the death. I'm so glad that we can have the hope and strength of Christ right now today. May you always live in the light of our Savior and King and may He continue to hold your family in the palm of His loving hand, not only now but forever. Philip was wondering if there was a piano there that Joy could play for you all when she visits?

God Bless,

Lisa Pampreen

This song touched my heart today as I thought of the happenings of yesterday and the outlook today. It is a song written by Michael Ledner

You Are My Hiding Place

You are my hiding place
You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance
Whenever I am afraid God I will trust in You
I Will Trust in YOu
Let the weak say I am strong in the strength of the Lord

Jon, Laura, Tanner, Jan and especially dear Lindsay. May God give you a good night's rest and may he fill your heart with the love of so many people that are praying for dear Lindsay. May the Lord your God give you strength.

Love, Susie And Steve

Each minute, each hour, each day is continued evidence of Lindsay's strength and will to survive. When I see Jon, Laura, Jan, and Tanner gathered at Lindsay's bedside, I can't help but appreciate where her strength of character comes from. The togetherness of your family and friends throughout this journey is truly inspiring. Since I can't visit Lindsay tomorrow, I will be eagerly awaiting updates.

Hey guys - I heard this song tonight and thought of you. (But everytime I hear Steven Curtis Chapman I think of you, Laura... and the Galley, and Palmer, and all those crazy Sandy Covians!!) Love you all and won't stop praying! - Jenny

"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength, but sometimes I wonder what He can do through me. No great success to show, no glory of my own; yet in my weakness He is there to let me know...

His strength is perfect when our strength is gone. He'll carry us when we can't carry on. Raised in His power, the weak become strong. His strength is perfect.

We can only know the power that He holds when we truly see how deep our weakness goes. His strength in us begins where ours comes to an end. He hears our humble cry and proves again...

His strength is perfect when our strength is gone. He'll carry us when we can't carry on. Raised in His power, the weak become strong. His strength is perfect."

Dear Jon & Laura & Tanner & Lindsay,
Just wanted to drop a quick note and let you know that we are praying for Lindsay and the rest of your family. There is no harder time than watching your child while they are sick but be assured that others and the Lord will see you through. When you can't pray there will be others who will pray until you are stronger. Psalm 121 is a real comfort to us, as a family, in knowing that our God neither slumbers nor sleeps but is watching over us and Lindsay all the time. If you remember, Jordan, our youngest has had lots of health problems, and do you know who was prayer warrior for us? Grandma Alice Groen !! She would remind me in church that she was praying for us and that was such a comfort. Maybe now we can return that favor. We will pray for you all each day until she is well. May you continue to see God in all circumstances. IN PRAYER, Ron and Ava Christians-Kenneth, Mn Ebenezer Chr. Ref. Church
